
As a 10 year cancer survivor with a deep sense of purpose I have honed the ability through my fifteen years as a professional in event planning, employee training, and team management within the higher education, apparel, manufacturing, and non-profit sectors in identifying growth opportunities and developing marketing strategies that elevate brand value, enhance visibility, and reinforce organizational strengths.
I have used the following quote in all aspects of my life: "Don't tell people about what you are doing; show them!”
In saying that, no success is won alone. I have had amazing and inspiring mentors guiding me to achieve excellence.
At the end of the day, it's about leaving a lasting impression. Maya Angelou said, "I have learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel."
This sentiment is what I carry with me in everything I do. In life, whether it be managing an event, training staff, or just having a conversation with a colleague. It's all about building relationships that represent who you are not only as a professional but as a human being.
